I am passionate about working with people and believe that as I grow, my clients grow. When I'm not working, I'm spending as much time I can outside. From walks with my dog, to skiing and snowshoeing through the mountains, I take my self-care and happiness very seriously. Other activities I enjoy include singing, hiking, arts & crafts, spending quality time with my family and friends, and listening to music.
I believe that change happens through empowerment, engagement, and connection. My approach to therapy is strength-based, solution-focused, and emotion-focused. I believe that change is possible through the use of expressive arts therapy and practical solutions.
I specialize in working with families, relationships, and individuals. I approach therapy from a strength-based and solution-focused perspective.
I have worked in the field of counseling for 5+ years in various settings, from mental health agencies, and residential treatment facilities to inpatient psychiatric facilities and schools. I completed my graduate coursework and clinical experience through Antioch University after obtaining my BA in Psychology from Post University in Connecticut.
