I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with outpatient and inpatient experience. I am also board-certified in Family Practice.
I believe everyone is capable of change and growth. I believe I can help you move through a challenging time by creating a safe place to talk about difficult situations. I use an eclectic approach to therapy and medication management. Everyone is unique and one size does not fit all. I believe that there is an interaction between biosocial environment and temperament or personality. Stress points may arise if there is an imbalance or poor fit between the environment and the personality. Patterns of behavior and approaches to life’s challenges may seem “immovable” with internal and external stressors.
My goal is to assist you in examining the patterns that may interfere with your joy and fulfillment. I have extensive experience providing counseling, therapy and medication management to adults of all ages. I use an integrative approach and may ask questions about how you manage your daily life. I may suggest lifestyle modifications that support your well-being.
I received my undergraduate degree at Temple University in Philadelphia. I fell in love with the Pacific Northwest during a rotation at the University of Washington and remained in Seattle to complete graduate degrees from the University of Washington and Seattle Pacific University. I have additional training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, somatic experiencing, cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapies and addiction medicine.
