At Greenlake Wellness, we believe that therapy is more than just a good personality match—it’s about having the clinical expertise and guidance to help you work through challenges in a meaningful way. While connection is key, we also want to ensure that the therapeutic process feels like the right fit for you, which takes a little more time.
That’s why we don’t offer free consultations. Instead, we encourage you to use your intake session as a chance to assess fit and start building trust. Just like you wouldn’t expect a 15-minute chat with a doctor to give you a full picture of your health, a brief call with a therapist won’t show the whole scope of your needs. Therapy is a process, and it can take time for patterns to emerge and for trust to grow. We recommend committing to 3–5 sessions before deciding if it’s the right match. If, after that time, you feel it’s not working, we’ll help you transition to a therapist who better fits your needs.
