My Work

With a warm, welcoming, and empathetic approach, I offer a supportive space for clients navigating life’s transitions. Whether you’re returning to school, ending a relationship, beginning recovery, or embarking on a new chapter, I believe that therapy can provide valuable guidance and insight.

My practice is grounded in a trauma-informed framework, ensuring a safe environment where you can explore your experiences. I utilize a variety of therapeutic lenses, including Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, and Feminist Theories, to understand how your surroundings and circumstances influence your sense of self and worldview.

I focus on areas such as eating disorder recovery, support for sexual and gender minorities, and religious deconstruction. With extensive experience in harm reduction settings, I am committed to the belief that there is no single “right way” to achieve well-being. My goal is to work collaboratively with you to uncover what resonates most with your unique journey.

My Belief

I approach my work through a social justice lens and approach each client with openness and curiosity. I believe we all have a story to tell which shapes the way we view our world. I believe in meeting people where they are at in their story and use a person-centered approach towards working together..

My Background

I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in music from Central Connecticut State University and a master’s in counseling from Seattle University. I have worked in human services for over a decade. My introduction to the helping professions came from working as a Resident Assistant in undergrad. After college I completed a yearlong term of service as an AmeriCorps volunteer in my local public schools. I then entered into the world of case management, working with many different organizations in the Seattle area. I have extensive experience serving various populations, and some of my previous work includes working with people experiencing chronic homelessness, women involved in street-based sex work, adults with developmental disabilities, and young adults in life transitions. I completed my counseling internship working in eating disorder treatment. I am LGBTQ+ affirming, Health At Every Size (HAES) aligned, and a proponent of harm-reduction strategies.

My Self

Outside of work I enjoy distance running and triathlon, rewatching The Office more times than I can count, and sharing my couch with a greyhound or two.
